Axa move into second place with a 2-1 victory at Hanham Athletic. The home side have got off to a dreadful start this season losing all of their games so far. This result may have been much different if the home side had taken two excellent opportunities in the first half. Axa took the lead on 65 minutes with a brilliant individual goal by Matt Shaughnessy and five minute later they were 2-0 up when Dan Griffiths netted a second. Hanham did pull a goal back in the 75^th minute when James Laver netted from the penalty spot. The home side were unable to get that all important second goal to gain their first point of the season.
